Bayt.com’s Talent Forward Event Highlights The Art & Science Of Attracting Talent In Jordan

Amman, Jordan, 1 November 2017: Bayt.com, the Middle East’s leading job site, held its largest employer and HR leadership event, Talent Forward, revealing the latest trends and information in the world of hiring talent in Jordan. The event took place in Amman on the 31st of October at the InterContinental Jordan Hotel.

This year, Talent Forward illuminated some of the most pressing matters related to talent that are specific to the Jordanian Market. The subjects discussed included employer branding, talent attraction strategies, competing for talent, designing and managing talent sourcing KPIs, and hunting for specific skills. All in all, the event tackled hiring as both a science and an art and discussed the different facets of both with recruitment in Jordan as its focus.

Suhail Masri, the Vice President of Employer Solutions, Bayt.com, weighed in by saying, “It is our mission to empower the Jordanian Job Market and part of doing that is holding our Talent Forward Event.” He continued to discuss the aim and objective of the event, adding, “This year, we wanted to discuss the most pressing matters for the Jordanian market, but to also bring forth the solutions and technologies that can help businesses find their talent needs efficiently. The Bayt.com event brought together a multitude of Jordanian professionals from the HR and talent-management fields; the heads of some of the country’s most prominent businesses; and Jordan-based recruiters who are interested in the latest trends in recruitment. Panellists included Edward Zreik, CHRO of Orange Jordan; Lara Abbasi, SVP for Human Resources & Development at Pharmacy 1; Motassem Salameh, Head of HR at Pepsico Jordan; and Sevan Tchakmakian, an HR Business Partner at Aramex.
